Carnie Wilson trying to hold on to home, facing foreclosure: "Carnie Wilson has sold more than 10 million albums with Wilson Phillips, has had her own reality show and recently appeared in the hit movie Bridesmaids, however, she is still facing foreclosure on her Los Angeles home.
She has defaulted and has not paid her mortgage for many months and, according to foreclosure documents filed at the L.A. County Recorder’s Office, owes $1.6 million on her house. She has until July 21st to pay the balance, otherwise her house will go to auction.
Wilson, 43, has had a career full of ups and downs. As the daughter of Beach Boy Brian Wilson, she was a member of the ultra-successful trio Wilson Phillips before they broke up in 1993. She went on to have a syndicated talk show and starred in her own reality show about her ongoing struggles with weight issues called Carnie Wilson: Unstapled. She actually sued the people behind her reality show last year for $277,500 saying she was not paid what she was owed."
